Sonu was one of the main leads for the renovation/lighting for the Mata Sahib Kaur hall at the Gurdwara Sahib. Unfortunately, he never got to see the finished article in person and only seen in pictures which was completed a few weeks after he went for an extended holiday to India. He and his family were meant to be back in the UK on the 1st of September (night he was killed in UtterPardesh known as UP India) but his stay was extended by another week few days prior.
All the sevadaars at the museum and the Gurdwara were waiting in anticipation for his return to re-commence work on the next project of Museum (Sikh Art Gallery) & the Gurdwara Committee were waiting for his return to recognise all the sevadaars with a Saropa (robe of honour), which now remains to be collected...
